Local real estate agent Michael O’Sullivan has been named the Most Outstanding Agent in Australasia at a recent industry awards night.
Mr O’Sullivan, who is Principal of Starr Partners Campbelltown, was handed the award while attending the tenth Annual Best Practice Retreat held at the Marriott Resort on the Gold Coast recently.
“It was a surprise and a huge honour to receive the award, particularly for a career that I am genuinely passionate about,” said Mr O’Sullivan.
“Kudos should go to my whole team at Starr Partners. They lend so much support to the business, and always go out of their way to understand the needs of our clients. It also helps that we are all local community members who understand the local market,” he said.
Along with his wife and business partner, Josephine, Mr O’Sullivan has been running Starr Partners Campbelltown since 1988 and estimates he has helped more than 5000 local property owners, landlords and tenants. 2010 is the second time Michael has been awarded the Best Practice award, having previously been recognised as the Property Management Office of the Year in 2004.
The Best Practice Award is an annual retreat for real estate business owners. It was established to recognise agents in Australia and New Zealand who focus on the needs of customers, run a consistently successful agency, look after the needs of their staff and have an in-depth understanding of their local community.
Starr Partners was founded in 1992. It is the largest and longest-running real estate franchise in Greater Western Sydney, comprising 26 offices across the Hills District, Hawkesbury, Nepean, South West, Outer West and Central Coast.”
