More competitive real estate training now available in VIC/TAS

Thursday 3 December 2009: Kaplan Professional is the first private education company to deliver real estate education and training throughout Victoria and Tasmania. Up until now, those pursing real estate training in VIC/TAS have been limited to the courses offered at the Real Estate Institutes (REIs) or TAFEs. However, Kaplan Professional’s entry into these States guarantees to produce far more flexible and competitively priced options for all students.

Paula Irvine, General Manager Real Estate, Kaplan Professional said, “For many years the REIs and TAFE have monopolised real estate education and training. But now as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Victoria and Tasmania, we’ll be significantly increasing student access with more practical face-to-face and online study options.”

“We’ve also cemented our position as the only national provider of real estate training in Australia. This means national agencies can choose Kaplan Professional to conduct all their staff training nationally. This is definitely a positive for the industry, saving time and resources, due to the different educational requirements that apply in each state/territory.”

In Victoria, Kaplan Professional courses now include the new Agents Representative Course, the Licence Program and Intensive Licence Program. In Tasmania courses include the Licence Program and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Paula added, “Kaplan Professional students can be confident of receiving a quality education with all our courses developed by leading industry experts, who incorporate their real world experiences as agents into all areas of the learning material. It’s this practical approach to learning that is highly regarded by employers across the country.”

Kaplan Professional’s programs meet the educational requirements needed to apply to become a Registered or Licensed Agent in Australia. All programs are tailored to each individual’s needs with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments also available.
